COPET animal characters are the creation of illustrator Seijiro Kubo. The simple, polygonal design can be easily applied to 3D images or turned into paper crafts. The engaging figures were selected for AIWA ad campaigns, and graced the cover of computer magazine, JAVA PRESS. A game machine for children, called “Pepa-robo,” is in the works at Omron Entertainment Co. Gamers will receive COPET paper crafts as prizes. A DVD of COPET CG images and other products are also in the pipeline. COPET should not be seen as personified characters, but rather as real animals, living by the laws of the jungle. This new world of animated creatures is full of action, love stories, and comedy.
